5 ply paper blankets, laminated bubble-wrap, suspending wardrobe cartons
(to avoid creased clothes) bespoke wooden crates for fragile or precious
items.
We offer expert packing - Delahaye is proud of its skilled staff
and low staff turnover. With extensive experience of packing the extraordinary
- the walls of a castle, trees, concert grand pianos, we are experts
in packing whatever you may own.
Each item is separated by layers of paper and bubble-wrap producing a cushion of air between items; these items are then tightly packed in a carton and cartons tightly packed in containers to minimize movement of items during transport. Larger items are placed in extra thick cartons before lighter items are placed above.
Sealed cartons ensure no access for dust or insects even if items are placed in storage for extended periods. Items are marked to be packed and unpacked by room.
Within Europe as standard, and globally by arrangement, all or part of your packing team will accompany your possessions to your new home This ensures familiarity with what was packed and ensures a sense of individual responsibility for the full service.
Our own fleet of high quality vehicles, from a backbone of large Mercedes Actros lorries with air-ride suspension and tamper proof Renova containers to medium sized and smaller vehicles enabling us to deliver to any location, however inaccessible
